I Wrote What I Write, I Write What I Like – With A Jeng!

We Try 24 January, 2009

We cry,
Because our hearts are not dry.

We shed tears,
Because we are human and have fears.

We feel love for beings,
Because that’s what it means to have feelings.

If our hearts we do not break,
How then shall it be opened?
If because fear of failure, risks we do not take,
How then shall we find the One we are destined?

do you at least shed a tear
Impervious & clear
as their dark red ooze
& their home they lose

blasphemous incantations of justice & peace
like empty hollow shells littered on a beach
the promise from powers, like a dark primrose
pretty & pungent & fragile & morose

Reason & Rhyme 19 January, 2009

love needs no reason,
love needs no rhyme
what love really needs,
is to be shown all the time

though patience may just be passion tamed
don’t let your passion be held or restrained
cos passion hidden is passion withdrawned
let passion be free lest passion’d scorned

To heave eve’s lush bosoms
Is the world’s heavenly ransom
Of severely raucous term;

Exchange your mind for desire
For worldly delightful splendor
Man’s eternal longing & ardor

Thine pale & smooth curvature
An exhilarating overture
& a not-bad-at-all portraiture

Thou art sin’s sly disguise

Thine warmth
& little laugh
Its darkness – pristine

High And Never Imperfect 13 January, 2009

Yo little bunny why would you wallow in sorrow
Clear your eyes now, there’s always a tomorrow
Don’t dwell in grief coz of a loser’s blindness
He’s but a swell thief, abusing your kindness

Now just because he thinks he can fly
It doesn’t mean he shouldn’t just die
I’m sure he’ll be shot down from his sky

But fret not cute bunny you can just choose any tea
For you’re not only cool, but your cup is filled to a C
Not to mention how you’re quirky, smart & funny
& miss lioness you eat more than what fits in a lorry

Plus lets not forget you little over-achiever
The best part is you’re my crazy lil’ sister
& you’re also Uncle Sam’s genius daughter

So just imagine your kisses are bullets, & blow one to his head
Or you can just say the word & I’ll smash it to pieces instead
I could even tie him up & fasten him in place – (you know he’ll cry)
Then you let loose your famous fart to his face – (I’m sure he’ll die)
How about you ram him straight on with your body
If you can smash a car, a boy won’t be a worry
Oh people might tell you that revenge is childish & nasty
What they don’t tell you is how good it feels to be petty

I may not have shielded you from life’s anguish & pain
But making your own mistakes means never making it again
& should he make you feel like you’re under duress
I know just what to do – I have his home address

So you faltered, it ain’t no big deal at all
So long as you get back up every time you fall
& don’t be afraid to trust yourself to another
Coz someday you’ll find the one that’s a winner

Yes all men are bastards, at least to a certain degree
But in actuality, there are 2 types of bastards you see
There’s the type that’s a bastard just coz he thinks he can
& the one that becomes a bastard coz things got out of hand
& while we’re on the subject, all women are bitches too
Keep that in mind when you decide what you want to do

So lift your chin up silly, you did nothing wrong
Like I always say, this is what makes us strong
& tho’ you may feel like the days are far too long
Reach out – Life’s full of people to help you along

Don’t be grave – just stay brave
Banish thine tears – conquer your fears
Stop depressing – life’s a blessing
If you grope – you’ll surely find hope
For there’s love abound – if you keep faith around

Solid Emptiness 10 January, 2009

something is lacking -
missing
i grip my fists -
clenching
but what i grip is
n   o   t   h   i   n   g

i own that nothing

but i have everything
i need
& want

and yet amazingly
i bleed
& taunt

is it really the world i shout at
or is it me myself i doubt as
a man
a friend
a someone for someone else

so give me an exuberent cheer
or even a comandeering leer

just show my something is not nothing
eventhough it can’t be your everything

A Bird That Flew 7 January, 2009

She spread her wings & flew
It was what she intended to do
A bird that was old but new
A wise owl but oft’ times cuckoo

Now this little bird (quite little you know)
Like any good bird, of life she was heady
She was hard & strong, rearing to go
But of leaving the nest she was quite wary

She all but danced briefly in my palm
Such was our chanced brief encounters
& nary but a few did she perch on my arm
But something of her song made her linger

This is what I’ll remember:
- Her rational thoughts in heated discussions
- Her cool demeanor even in throes of passion
- Her maturity with underlying giddiness
- Her gentle but overwhelming presence
- The tears that fell from sky & cheek when she went away
- Her principles that wont break, tho they sometimes sway

She flew willingly
& she will fly true
She shall soar freely
In Skies of vast blue

Good Luck Rumet. Don’t be too Naughty. & Keep in touch

I have 2 sisters, an akak & a babe
(an older & younger one)
both treated as both were made

I love them differently yes
(2 & 8 years each)
but I heart each no less

I can drivel on relentlessly
on how they are special
But I’d rather subjectively
keep it plain, true & simple

To the two who’s wonderful
As much as they are beautiful
may life be pretty & bountiful
& that their joys be a plentiful

Life’s brief or lelah semu semata:
As this new beginning you inhale
may you have a happily ever after
My wish upon your own little tale

Happy Birthday Bai & Jacky. Love you guys!
muahs & xoxo

I remember, beneath a big stone mushroom with stools
How we laughed out our stories – acting just like fools
Bonds were formed & friendships were pledged
Hear now the story of our time at our college

We eyed the girls & tousled with the boys
The world our oyster – this life but our toy
We learned of relationships & realities of life
Some even felt their backs a place for a knife

The alfresco café & the field of sparse greenery
The lobby was zesty as the dining hall was busy
And though much of it our memory won’t retain
Rest assured the important ones always remain

Tis not just the place where our cohorts we levy
T’was also the milieu of our own self discovery

So here I pay tribute to the culture that I dwelled
May you be the hub for future generations as well

for you Dayasari – Fifth College

Too Double Oh Nayn 1 January, 2009

What does your heart wish for, more than any other
A peaceful world, or a place without strangers?

For me tis unadorned; I ask naught but simple things.

An ear which does not judge,
a hand to hold while walking,
A tight & warm lil’ hug,
a smile when we start a talking

Laughter in abundance & sinful food – with decadent desserts of course
An atmosphere with a warm mood, just nice for stimulating discourse

Like Fräulein Maria likes to sing;
these are a few of my favourite things

But more than that – as with all beginnings
we strive, to be better & kinder beings
we promise, to be more gentle & loving
more honest, livelier & more forgiving

& for an instant, in life’s unscrupulous & unrelenting demeanor
we see ourselves not as what transpired, but as what we aspire
& there be no greater dream than dreaming of us being greater

I shall clench all these (& hopefully, everything & whatever)
A solemn quote of note for me to adhere, & no other
but a head they say, is better yet with another
So let us begin this journey, together

So here’s to you, me, them, & everyone else as well
lets say hello with vigor – after we finish with the farewell

Lets usher in good thoughts as well as good deeds. Cheers!
