I Wrote What I Write, I Write What I Like – With A Jeng!

“Tell me the price of your love”, said the rabbit of the sea
riding its tricycle, its smile a smirk full of glee
on its left paw, a small silver watch 20 minutes fast
& its right precariously holding a half-full wine glass

“hurry up now”, said the rabbit – “I’m moving along”
“I’m in a rush, always – & anyway your answer will be wrong
for love, truly – to you it does not belong
tis only borrowed of which your heart doth long”

with a cackle & a cough, riding the waves – as tipsy as a Cheshire cat
she left with a gentleman’s bow, & a flourish of her top hat

Hail yonder
luscious pastures of calamities’ wonder
unite us effervescently together
Miracles forsaken – the sacred plundered

Empty thine mortal shell
Shadows & dust – mere dancing desires proclaimed erudite(s) tries to quell
Truth twisted into a faςade of morality’s charlatan; becoming a politically correct hell
When faith & facts was convened as heresy & sacrilege; into deception’s depths did we fell

Rise against night’s infernal light
Wisdom & sin not given to those who do not fight
For life rests not on death’s theatrical scythe
What you truly believe is what you should hold to be right

Way Around 3 February, 2009

when you cross the threshold into the cycle of undulations
seductively lulled by its ebb & flow of wicked red temperance

effortlessly you forgo yourself to drift in its wake
now everyone gets their fair share of trials & tribulations
but what defines us is how we respond to it with our patience
remember, it’s about giving more than what you take

for when a simple glare becomes illicitly explicit
& plain words becomes scathing bladed scythes
when others’ actions counts always as a deficit
& the world becomes nothing but empty ties

you’re abandoning rationale & reason
courteousness & propriety forgotten

then maybe you’d understand
what your way means to a man

to let loose in its tide
it may feel easy & soothing
but do remember one thing

its just not right

it may be a bitch
& stings quite a bit
but that’s what we call life

Off My Cheek 1 February, 2009

If only my wounds could bleed tears
that my eyes could stay a dry haven
easily then my scars’d replace my fears
& my emotions I could calmly govern

for when a drop forms in my eyes
when it paints mine in a glisten

a smothering veil of numbness
quickly I turn to a guise of lies
that my shadows may stay hidden
that i wouldn’t spread my weaknesses

how I long to shout my deepest secrets
than to merely whisper it into the winds

barbs that pierce the echo of my essence
a bizarre façade that I readily adopted
the fortress to guard my sins within
docile & placid I wear a mask of silence

Oh how I yearn to learn of a keeper
that would forget & yet remember
a neutral voice of a rousing stranger
not of a judge, jury, or executioner

We Try 24 January, 2009

We cry,
Because our hearts are not dry.

We shed tears,
Because we are human and have fears.

We feel love for beings,
Because that’s what it means to have feelings.

If our hearts we do not break,
How then shall it be opened?
If because fear of failure, risks we do not take,
How then shall we find the One we are destined?

do you at least shed a tear
Impervious & clear
as their dark red ooze
& their home they lose

blasphemous incantations of justice & peace
like empty hollow shells littered on a beach
the promise from powers, like a dark primrose
pretty & pungent & fragile & morose

Reason & Rhyme 19 January, 2009

love needs no reason,
love needs no rhyme
what love really needs,
is to be shown all the time

though patience may just be passion tamed
don’t let your passion be held or restrained
cos passion hidden is passion withdrawned
let passion be free lest passion’d scorned

To heave eve’s lush bosoms
Is the world’s heavenly ransom
Of severely raucous term;

Exchange your mind for desire
For worldly delightful splendor
Man’s eternal longing & ardor

Thine pale & smooth curvature
An exhilarating overture
& a not-bad-at-all portraiture

Thou art sin’s sly disguise

Thine warmth
& little laugh
Its darkness – pristine

High And Never Imperfect 13 January, 2009

Yo little bunny why would you wallow in sorrow
Clear your eyes now, there’s always a tomorrow
Don’t dwell in grief coz of a loser’s blindness
He’s but a swell thief, abusing your kindness

Now just because he thinks he can fly
It doesn’t mean he shouldn’t just die
I’m sure he’ll be shot down from his sky

But fret not cute bunny you can just choose any tea
For you’re not only cool, but your cup is filled to a C
Not to mention how you’re quirky, smart & funny
& miss lioness you eat more than what fits in a lorry

Plus lets not forget you little over-achiever
The best part is you’re my crazy lil’ sister
& you’re also Uncle Sam’s genius daughter

So just imagine your kisses are bullets, & blow one to his head
Or you can just say the word & I’ll smash it to pieces instead
I could even tie him up & fasten him in place – (you know he’ll cry)
Then you let loose your famous fart to his face – (I’m sure he’ll die)
How about you ram him straight on with your body
If you can smash a car, a boy won’t be a worry
Oh people might tell you that revenge is childish & nasty
What they don’t tell you is how good it feels to be petty

I may not have shielded you from life’s anguish & pain
But making your own mistakes means never making it again
& should he make you feel like you’re under duress
I know just what to do – I have his home address

So you faltered, it ain’t no big deal at all
So long as you get back up every time you fall
& don’t be afraid to trust yourself to another
Coz someday you’ll find the one that’s a winner

Yes all men are bastards, at least to a certain degree
But in actuality, there are 2 types of bastards you see
There’s the type that’s a bastard just coz he thinks he can
& the one that becomes a bastard coz things got out of hand
& while we’re on the subject, all women are bitches too
Keep that in mind when you decide what you want to do

So lift your chin up silly, you did nothing wrong
Like I always say, this is what makes us strong
& tho’ you may feel like the days are far too long
Reach out – Life’s full of people to help you along

Don’t be grave – just stay brave
Banish thine tears – conquer your fears
Stop depressing – life’s a blessing
If you grope – you’ll surely find hope
For there’s love abound – if you keep faith around
